There were more than 250 black high school students and educators in attendance at the annual Black Brilliance conference. With over twenty nine TDSB high schools participated in this uplifting event.
Lola Bunz had the opportunity of being the keynote speaker of this wonderful conference talking to the students about her journey in life, musical career and how she got to where she’s at today overcoming road blocks.
Lola Bunz is a Toronto rapper who originally started off as a spoken words artist before falling in love with beats. She shared one of her favourite poems with the students titled Push.
