Yes! North America's Largest Caribbean Carnival is back for 2022! Toronto Caribbean Carnival returns on Saturday, July 30th, 2022. Most of the parade is free along Lakeshore boulevard.
Toronto Caribbean Carnival is an event where the road becomes the stage for the masqueraders and steelpan performers. This event continues to attract local, national, and international attention by visitors and media as it is the highlight of the three-week Festival.
This event continues to draw millions from all over the world to see the live performing street art year after year which is also available on live streaming. The city welcomes, masqueraders in colourful and striking costumes as they wind their way from the assembly area at Exhibition Place along Lake Shore Boulevard. Though most of the parade is free, there's an admission to enter the Exhibition Place where patrons have the opportunity to enjoy the parade of the Mas Bands. Masquerade bands end up in Exhibition Place where masqueraders can party until 6PM.
